Warehouse, Logistics, Supply Chain and Systems Consultants

Warehouse design, WMS, logistics and supply chain consultants are what we provide.  We help manufacturing and distribution companies to reduce warehouse and supply chain operating costs and … improve their service levels.

It is a truism that many warehouses operate less efficiently than they could and also that in many instances, the design and processes have not been updated to meet changes in customer requirements or in stock profile.

Ted Maley Logistics specialises in working with companies to improve the productivity, accuracy, visibility, timeliness etc. of their warehouse processes. This often extends to the definition of requirements and selection of warehouse management systems – backed up by deep knowledge of the respective capabilities of suppliers in the UK market. Associated areas include RF and voice terminals and bar-coding.

Ted himself has over 35 years of engineering and supply chain experience which he applies to warehouse and supply chain process reviews, warehouse design and systems selection and implementation. He has a particular expertise in warehouse and order management systems and based on 20 years of assessing warehouse, distribution and fulfilment operations, prides himself on being able to take a truly pragmatic approach.

With well developed analytical and inter-personal skills, backed up by a wealth of experience he is quickly able to assess situations and come up with realistic and practical recommendations for improved methods and designs.

Ted’s wide ranging experience includes work carried out for Argos, B&Q, Canterbury New Zealand, Channel Island Traders, Dow Chemical, Elekta Oncology, Harvey Nichols, Healthcare Logistics, Ind Coope Burton Brewery, Kelloggs Europe, Kingfield Heath, Keystone Foods, KLM, MAM Logistics, Marks & Spencer, MSC (Mediterranean Shipping), McDonald’s, NIC-EIC (National Inspection Council for Electrical Installation Contractors), National OIlwell Varco, Ordnance Survey, P&O Trans-European, Portsmouth Hospital Trust, Portland Press, Staples and Teamsters Logistics.
